All
This morning Frank Vanslager and I checked out several ponds; Los Gatos
Creek Park (northern most pond), Almaden Lake Park, Calero Reservoir, Coyote
Creek Golf Course and three of the largest ponds at Ogier Ponds in hopes of
finding something different that had blown in with the weather. An
adult GREATER WHITE-FRONTED was in the flooded field south of Bailey Ave
(across from IBM) in Morgan Hill and an OSPREY was perched in a tree across from
the boat launching ramp at Calero. The only other thing of note was a good
number (30-40) of GREATER SCAUP in the ponds north of the entrance to Ogier
Ponds.
Take care,
Bob Reiling
