[SBB] Palo Alto Baylands, 3/23

Spent some time yesterday down by Baylands and out on the boardwalk
near the interpretive center. It was very (very!) low tide, almost a
"walk to fremont" day.

Nothing too unusual hanging around -- Northern Shovelers and ruddys
for most of the ducks, the Northern Harrier was there, and I saw what
I believe was the young Coopers fly by, but it didn't return.
American Avocets and Stilts dominated, greater yellowlegs, semi-
palmated (I thnk) sandpiper (way out on the mudflats from the
observation platform), song and white-crowned Sparrows, the
obligatory black phoebe tourguide, Willets, The ring-necked pheasant
was out with one of his girlfriends, down by the bathroom near the
boat ramp (and he's gotten very territorial. careful).

Pictures in a bit...
