Walking along Lands' End behind the Palace of the Legion of Honor at about 2 
p.m. Sunday, Jan. 30 I looked up for a second to see a Peregrine Falcon 
swoop behind a Mourning Dove -- just above tree height, right in front of 
us. The falcon took the dove in its talons to somewhere out of sight. Over 
in 10 seconds or less.
