I've been unable to find anyone in the Bluebird recovery program with 
knowledge of Western Screech Owl nesting habits. Last year we had nesting 
W. Screech Owls in one of our nest boxes. They had 3 owlets that fledged. 
Apparently they stay in the area year round. Should I put up more boxes 
this year, and if so, how far from the first nest box? This is assuming the 
off spring have reached sexual maturity, another unknown.
