Earlier we had tried for and missed the Bald Eagle and the Ferruginous Hawk (off Santa Teresa Blvd.) but had a pair of HOODED MERGANSERS in the pond nearest the club house at the Coyote Creek Golf Course. A good sized flock of Blackbirds on the golf course failed to produce anything different while Almaden Lake Park also failed to produce anything of note.
