Good evening SBBers....
 
I did some birding today with the last stop checking out the Great Blue  
Herons at Vasona.... I am so excited to call the season open for breeding at  
Vasona....Nest 1 and 2 have single herons and Nest 4 and 9 have pairs...I  checked 
out the colony at 5:20PM...so I will go back tomorrow with my scope to  get a 
better idea of how many herons are in the colony. I will  notify SFBBO, 
Vasona and Park Rangers that the herons are  back.... With fingers crossed and some 
luck we should have another  successful GBHE breeding season at Vasona....

PS: Checked out the Geese at Geng Road...same report as Frank V., Had a  
Pipit at the EEC this morning....Arzino Ranch has 7 Long-billed  Curlews....
