My husband Lee and I saw half a dozen W. Bluebirds on the Stile 
Ranch/Fortini loop trail today. In fact, I'm finding them almost everywhere 
I bird in the south county this winter.

Yesterday Lee replaced a lost or stolen nest box in nearby Almaden Meadows 
park. As he hung the new nest box in the tree, a pair of W. Bluebirds 
arrived and flew into the nest box before he even released the hook. Looks 
like another good year for our Bluebird trails.
