Hello All,
 
This afternoon (Fri, 1/14) I saw a WILSON'S WARBLER in the trees and  
shrubbery on the east side of the Guadalupe Channel near the VTA parking lot  just 
north Almaden Lake and Coleman Rd.  More specifically it was  seen foraging in a 
pepper tree and lower shrubbery near the spillway - the  same area where I 
had found a Nashville Warbler and other warblers last  fall.
 
I believe this bird was a first year female.  It had bright yellow  under 
parts, black beady eyes, yellow supercilium, and a hint of a  brownish-olive cap. 
 The upper parts were of an olive tone.    Possibly a wintering bird.
