All,

I joined two other people photographing the GREATER ROADRUNNER west of 
the Alviso Marina over lunch today 1/13/05. A vocal adult PEREGRINE 
FALCON was harassing a RED-TAILED HAWK on a telephone pole across Alviso 
Slough.

A quick stop at the EEC in Alviso turned up 2 BARN OWLS in the nest box 
and several THAYER'S GULLS on the dike on the east side of pond A16.

A GOLDEN EAGLE was at Arzino Ranch, along with hundreds of MEW GULLS.
