We saw two VIRGINIA RAILs and at the end of a large flight of CANADA GEESE were six(?) GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GEESE, likely moving from the golf course down to Byxbee Park. About 12:30 and high tide, the water was well up the sandbags, a couple inches above the levee, and a ranger came out to kick us out. As he herded us off the levee, I finally got a solid look at a SWAMP SPARROW in the same place as previously reported, just short of the far end of the line of sandbags. Back at Black Rail corner, the water was very high, halfway up the "28" at the top of the post, and well out onto the road in many places.
