All,

Over lunch today 1/5/2005, I headed up to Ed Levin County Park to look 
for Long-eared Owls, joining up with Dean Manley and Bob Reiling, who 
were already there looking. It took a little while (Bob gave up early), 
but I found a LONG-EARED OWL in a pine close to the Elm Picnic Area 
parking lot. Earlier, while searching the trees along the golf course 
fence, Dean and I saw a vocal RED-BREASTED NUTHATCH in a pine out on the 
golf course.
