A quick check of the west end of Shoreline Lake on the way back turned up the PELAGIC CORMORANT foraging close to shore (got photos). Another quick stop at the small NASA Storm Water Pond here at work turned up a remarkable 7 BLUE-WINGED TEAL (4 adult males, 1 immature male, and 2 females) among numerous CINNAMON TEAL. Also here was a female-plumaged COMMON GOLDENEYE. Pretty amazing for a small cement-lined pond! Mike Rogers _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
