Of note on the lake were one male and one female BARROW'S GOLDENEYES, the continuing PELAGIC CORMORANT, and a single RED-NECKED PHALAROPE. Also seen were a SAY'S PHOEBE and a LINCOLN'S SPARROW both seen from the paved trail between Shoreline Lake and Salt Pond A1. There were lots of SURF SCOTERS and COMMON GOLDENEYES as well as many DOUBLE-CRESTED CORMORANTS on the lake this morning as well. I also saw 4 grebe species: HORNED, EARED, PIED-BILLED and WESTERN.
