The sapsucker was a nearly immediate find at 8:02 AM as it was hanging onto the trunck and did not seem to be bothered by my near-by presence. >From US 101 in San Jose take Tully Road east past Capitol Expressway and make a left into Lake Cunningham Regional Park (Raging Waters). Pass the pay kiosk and make an immediate RIGHT and follow the road to parking lot C. Have there been previous records of Williamson's Sapsucker in Santa Clara County?
