Heard 2 selasphorous hummers zing by (seemingly in pine trees rather than eucalyptus)-- and realized that finding them was going to take more time than I had. Above my head in an oak tree I kept hearing an Anna's-- finally found her on a beautiful little nest. I thought I would mention this because it is a breeding bird. There were 6 swallows over Sandy Wool Lake and the nearby hills-- I could see a fair amount of white rump but did not see white on their faces. I have seen Tree Swallows nest in this park before.
