Hello all,
I stopped at the little pond at Gate 5, Monte Bello OSP this morning, 2/2/2005, shortly after sunrise. During my brief stay, there were two groups of Red Crossbills (4 and 16 birds respectively) which passed over on a flight path which roughly paralleled Page Mill Rd. This might well have taken them to the big pines along the road by the sag pond, but I didn't have time to check.
