I have to admit I was doing 65 miles an hour going
southound on highway 17 when I looked over my shoulder
at Campbell's OKA ponds and I believe I saw a male
Hooded Merganser. He was in the pond farthest from
the OKA Lane entrance. (The same pond we can find them
every winter)
I later went back (for the few moments I had ) to
quickly walk the area and I could not find a
merganser, but there was now a person fishing that
same pond.
I did find a COMMON YELLOWTHROAT working the ponds.
