[SBB] My first visit to Ulistac was only a few minutes between noon and 1 PM .

Around 12:45 PM this afternoon I was able to snag a few minutes and walk
into Ulistac.
Very pleasant, amazing how quiet ~ well other than sing Bewicks Wrens,
Chirping California Towhees, battling Black Male Phoebes,+ a half dozen
Chustnut Backed Chickadees hanging upside down and three very quiet
Western Tangers.
With all of that going on I also heard cricket.

I stopped at Ulistac Natural Area again today, 13 May 05, this time
finding 20 WESTERN TANAGERS, 11 WILSON'S WARBLERS, 2 WARBLING VIREOS, 3
SWAINSON'S THRUSHES, and a WESTERN WOOD-PEWEE. A bird that I had there
the other day that wasn't on Chris Salander's list was BROWN-HEADED
COWBIRD.

I have a general question for anyone connected with this preserve. They
have an area on their map called "sycamore woodland", and yet there are
no sycamore trees there, or anywhere on the preserve as far as I can
tell. Any ideas?
