Sorry about the previous "post", which was actually just a blown keystroke...here's the real one.
This morning 5/4/2005 at Monte Bello's Gate 5 the only real surprise was a flight of 19 Red Crossbills winging south at 8:30 AM. A Western Tanager called briefly from a treetop before moving on; a single Wilson's Warbler, although singing, was probably a migrant at this location also. Three Black-throated Gray Warblers, two Orange-crowned Warblers, and a Warbling Vireo (as well as two Black-headed Grosbeaks) do seem to be on territories however - I hear them at the same locations every time I visit, lately.
