The female Williamson Sapsucker continues in the pines by the restroom
in parking lot C. The Great-tailed Grackle made a quick appearance on
the smaller, northern-most island. No Clarkes Grebe.
Near the Kildeer picnic area, lo and behold, were a mama Kildeer with 3
babies in tow.
The Great Egrets are nesting in the topmost schrubs on the large,
southern island as are many Black-crowned night herons. Lots of Snowy
Egrets and several Green Herons were along the shore, too.
