All,
This morning where Wright Station Rd crosses Los Gatos Creek Frank Vanslager
and I had at least three WARBLING VIREOS (great views of one) and several
calling HUTTON'S VIREOS. Earlier on Morrill Rd we had lots of calling
(singing?) RED-BREASTED NUTHATCHES, singing ORANGE-CROWNED SPARROWS, Hutton's Vireos,
and RUBY-CROWNED KINGLETS. Unfortunately, possible calls of our target
species, Pygmy Nuthatch and Golden-crowned Kinglet, were to distant to be sure of
their ID.
Take care,
Bob Reiling
