Running on the Guadalupe river levees this afternnoon I saw a bird at a
distance. It appeared to be feeding on the seeds of plants at the edge of
the levee. It appeared mostly grey. As it flew away I got a bright flash of
yellow on the central tail feathers (the outer ones were grey). Any ideas?
Thanks,
Phli Brown
