El Corte Madera Creek OSP is in the Santa Cruz Mtns in San Mateo  
County, west of Skyline Blvd., north of La Honda Rd. (Hwy 84/Woodside  
Rd.) between La Honda Creek and Purisima Creek Redwoods OSPs. You can  
get maps at the Midpeninsula Open Space District website  
<http://www.openspace.org/>. The only "consistent" Pileated Woodpecker  
detections in Santa Clara Co. come from Monte Bello OSP. Or, you can  
shadow David Suddjian, the Pileated Woodpecker Magnet, if you're hardy  
enough.
