The heronry-by-the-Duck-Pond is really active these days, with lots of
noisy nestlings. Leading the pack are the three GREAT EGRET chicks, fully
visible from the path that circles behind the palm trees.

After catching that action, I checked out the yacht harbor entrance for
incoming shorebirds. I saw one DOWITCHER sp, one LEAST SANDPIPER, and two
SEMIPALMATED PLOVERS. Of the plovers, one was an adult as expected --
