SBBers,
This morning (2/26/005) the female WILLIAMSON'S SAPSUCKER was still present at Lake Cunningham.
In the afternoon at Salt Pond A2W the first bird I put my bins on was an EURASIAN WIGEON drake. Thinking that was a good omen, I continued to the southeastern end of the pond and quickly found the TUFTED DUCK. As I was leaving 4 birders asked if I saw the Tufted Duck. I was pleased to show them their second lifer for the day. They had just seen the Iceland Gull in Milpitas.
There were at least 3 Eurasian Wigeon and some REDHEAD in the pond.
Peggy Don
