[SBB] White-throated Sparrow -- Palo Alto & across the creek

I found Matthew Dodder's White-throated Sparrow today across the creek from
where he saw it yesterday - near Poe/Bryant/Palo Alto in Palo Alto. However,
since it was on the slope across the creek, I realized later that it was in
San Mateo County.  The sparrow is striking even from the back where it is
rustier on the upper back and wings than the Golden-crowned Sparrows. Its
face is strikingly striped with big white stripes and then its white throat.

Also along the trail was a Red-shouldered Hawk and a Hermit Thrush.
