I was conducting a carcass search survey under the
powelines on the San Jose Water Polution Control Plant (WPCP) ortherwise known
as the sludge ponds near Coyote Creek Field Station. Anyway there was a
flock of Canada Geese with two Cackling Geese at the southwest end of the
WPCP. The WPCP is not open to the public, but if one was looking with a
spotting scope from the levee/road out to the Coyote Creek Field Station you
might catch them on the levees in the sludge pond area. Good luck.
