This morning (Wed, Dec 14) an adult BALD EAGLE was seen perched on an oak at the southwest corner of Calero Reservoir.

I've been checking Calero fairly regularly since the end of November and was beginning to wonder if a Bald Eagle would ever show up this season - but now it has. Hopefully, it will still be around for the Calero-Morgan Hill CBC on Dec 30.
