I also am a fan of the digest.  I have tried the standard way to get digest
form by sending an email to [[email protected]] with the message "set
South-Bay-Birds digest".  This works with other list server software but did
not work here.  I've also sent an email to Chuq asking for digest format but
have not received a reply.  Perhaps he's out of town?

I feel the way Deborah does. Receiving these messages  in digest form 
once per day was fine but getting multiple messages each day feels 
overwhelming and is inconvenient.  Why did this change?
PLease change it back to sending them in digest form. If you can't do 
this by next weekend, I will unsubscribe.
