Hi Birders-
Had only a one hour window during lunch this afternoon to see (not search for) the Sharp-tailed Sandpiper. Fortunately, Dean Manley was there with scope. At about 1:30 pm the bird and its Least companions were along the far shore of the salt flat E of the new marina/park. The Sharpie was very active, running back and forth among the Leasts. A couple of looks and it was back to work.
Dave Weber,
Milpitas
