[SBB] Alum Rock Park GH Owl chicks

Thanks to Kim Blythe's directions, I was able to find the Great Horned
Owl nest on the rocky cliff face just past the locked gate at the far
end of the last parking

area at Alum Rock Park.

 

There were two chicks but no adults the 30 minutes or so I was there.

 

Tried some digiscopes which wasn't easy given the lighting, my
inexperience and a three year old yanking at my legs and the scope in
turn.

The following was the best of the lot.
