I'm trying to figure out if the rattlesnake Janet & I saw yesterday would be Western Diamondback Rattlesnake {Crotalus atrox} or Western Rattlesnake {Crotalus viridis} or could it be either? Or, since I'm no expert on snakes, is there a difference or just different opinions in taxonomy. (Same species, but different names?) If you know or have opinions, please reply to me directly. -- Randy Little, Milpitas, CA [[email protected]] "I bird because the voices in my head tell me to." _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
