Hi all:

I was able to swing by the Environmental Education
Center in Alviso this afternoon.  On the access road
on the way in, several dowitchers flushed and landed
in the south side wetlands adjacent to the road.  I
was able to pick out one pectoral sandpiper mixed in
with the dowitchers.  

An adult red-shouldered hawk was hunting from the
fence immediately south of the big curve leading into
the EEC.  

I didn't venture out along the railroad tracks, and
nothing unusual to report from State and Spreckels.

No roadrunner sightings, and only a Lincoln's Sparrow
and Golden-Crowned sparrows of note at the Alviso
Marina parking area.
