On the access road on the way in, several dowitchers flushed and landed in the south side wetlands adjacent to the road. I was able to pick out one pectoral sandpiper mixed in with the dowitchers. An adult red-shouldered hawk was hunting from the fence immediately south of the big curve leading into the EEC. I didn't venture out along the railroad tracks, and nothing unusual to report from State and Spreckels. No roadrunner sightings, and only a Lincoln's Sparrow and Golden-Crowned sparrows of note at the Alviso Marina parking area. Good birding, Bob Power Oakland, CA _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
