Hi all:

Our Palo Alto Adult School birding class had a lovely
walk at Alum Rock City Park today.  Highlights were a
Townsend's Warbler, Adult Golden Eagle, Lincoln's
Sparrow and an Empid that looked to be a Willow
Flycatcher but went unidentified.  The Flycatcher was
playing distant (literal and figurative) fourth fiddle
to a swirl of Bewick's Wrens, Black Phoebe, and Brown
Creeper(s?).  The flycatcher was another 30 feet
behind this group through the trees and by the time we
made ourselves to the area it was last seen, it was
gone.
