Our goal was to find 100 species today and we did. Using the SCVAS's, "Birding at the Bottom of the Bay" made the day easy to route as we started in the south bay and worked our way around the valley. All in all we thought it was a quiet day. Maybe the drop in temperature, the over-cast?We did not spend much time looking for rare Warblers, Greater Roadrunners or off course shorebirds, but I have listed below each location we checked-out and where we first encountered each new species. This list does not include the heard only's. I was excited to see Peregrine Falcons on three different occasions. It was quite a day! I'd also like to thank all our sponsors, I'll be calling you next.
