Sorry if the first one goes through, making this one a duplicate. At about 12:15 today Donna Heim and I independently found one of the male Ruffs in Alviso, She and a friend saw it from the rise on Spreckles St, while I saw it from the tracks. It was in the usual place, toward the N end of the pond. They were also finding the Stilt Sandpiper, a bit N of its usual place, when it's not E of the tracks. By the time I came back over, both birds were feeding side by side. The Ruff seemed almost 3 times the Stilt's size.
