I've been performing south bay slough surveys for a while.  In may interest some that I have observed an increase in the blackbird populations over the last few days, as Tricolored Blackbirds, predominantly male, has incresed their ranks by three to four fold.

Also, otherbirds sighted around the Alviso Marina County Park, while looking for the greater roadrunner, have included, Yellow Warblers (Alviso Slough channel), Lincoln Sparrows, a House Wren (stand-off with Bewick's Wren), and what appears to be the beginning of the departure of all the Barn Swallows that have been staging here for a couple weeks.
