It seems everyone is always asking me about owls and where to find them.  Lasnight I was taking a walk in Saratoga when I heard a Western Screech Owl calling. 
 
I was on Saratoga Ave. heading toward downtown Saratoga when the owl could be heard calling from the tall trees behind the Immanuel Lutheran Church (14103 Saratoga Ave.). There are tall trees behind the lower parking lot of this church.  The time was 9:00 PM.
