At 8:40 this morning, Wednesday, I unsuccessfully searched for the Heermann's 
Gull at the Los Gatos Creek County Park.  Then some workers showed up to fool 
around on the dirt dyke next to the wooden dividers of that settling pond, 
and the remainder of the gulls left.  There were some Ring-necked Ducks in that 
settling area, and a pair of Hooded Mergansers in the second main pond … the 
small pond just to the east.
