At noon today I walked a short way on the Alamitos Creek trail in Almaden 
Valley from the Mazzone bridge south of Lake Almaden to Pfeiffer Ranch Rd., 
about a mile south of the lake. Best birds were FOX SPARROW 2, CAL. 
THRASHER 2, WOOD DUCK 2, a HERMIT THRUSH, DOWNY WOODPECKER, SHARP-SHINNED 
HAWK, RED SHOULDERED HAWK, RED TAILED HAWK, BELTED KINGFISHER, and an OSPREY.
