Folks:

This morning, 10/22/2004, the juvenile SABINE'S GULL continues in the North 
Pond of the Palo Alto Flood Control Basin (use the center parking lot off 
the frontage road).  Many birders were there (Dean Manley, Peggy Don, John 
B. Hutz, and more) so even if you do not have a telescope, you may be able 
to borrow a look.  The bird sometimes approached the center path closely 
enough that most details could be seen with binoculars.
