Hello SBBers,

At least 12 Violet-green Swallows were seen foraging about 30 feet in the air over the Ground Water Recharge Ponds just west of Hwy 101 on Church Avenue at 2:45 pm on 19 October.  They all swooped down close enough to see the white around their eyes.

Also, on 13 October, a Barn Swallow was seen foraging 10 feet or less from the ground across the mowed pasture land on our property near Church Avenue and De Paul Circle, headed North, no less!

These are the last two sightings that I have for swallows this year. . so far. . .
