As I was watching that bird in my bins, another Bittern flew into my sight and landed on the west side of the river. The first bittern then flew deeper into the cattails. A SPOTTED SANDPIPER was walking across the dam. GREAT EGRETS, SNOWY EGRETS, GREEN HERON AND BLACK CROWNED NIGHT HERONS were also seen. I found one RUBY CROWNED KINGLET a LINCOLN'S SPARROW, and YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLERS from the east side of the river. A BELTED KINGFISHER flew down the river and flock of CEDAR WAXWINGS flew overhead.
