It's the first time I've ever seen that bird in the dry oak woodland park. It was perched on a bare branch in the understory of an oak tree on the Quarry trail between the two sets of stairs. It had a high crest, very white chin that wrapped partially around its cheeks, wing bars, yellow lower mandible, and partial eye ring. Nearby were three W. Bluebirds which flew to the ridge where one male was perched outside of a nest box and the female was entering the nest box. Many White-breasted Nuthatch, Oak Titmouse and Yellow-rumped Warblers also seen on the same trail. It was getting dark when I saw a long winged falcon disappear over the ridge.
