I was probably about 30 minutes ahead of Al Eisner on a similar route. I never saw his sapsucker, but I did have a NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH about halfway between Crittenden Lane and the lone euc on the east side. It was about 10 m below the Charleston Road Marsh pumping station outlet. It was flighty. I wonder if it is the same bird that has wintered in the Charleston Road Marsh the last two winters. I saw the same WESTERN WOOD-PEWEE that Al saw and this is getting a bit late. I saw 2 WESTERN FLYCATCHERS, an ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER, and at least 3 YELLOW WARBLERS. I also saw Al's GREEN HERON.
