We had two GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GEESE in the Coyote Creek mud flats west of the Waterbird Pond, two PEREGRINE FALCONS (an adult and a juvenile) on the different dikes between the fenced-in "inner" Slag Ponds as well as six RED-NECKED PHALAROPES and a male RING-NECKED DUCK (and a female?) in one of the "inner" Slag Ponds. A trip to Edenvale Garden Park yielded a couple RUBY-CROWNED KINGLETS, an ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER and a pale adult female WESTERN TANAGER.
