Several other birders were already there looking when I arrived just after 8:30am. After about an hour of searching, I found the immature female [=very drab] MAGNOLIA WARBLER foraging in the pines just west of the pedestrian bridge over the creek along the loop road on the north side of the park. I chased down the other birders and eventually everyone got to see the bird. Other birds in the area included 3 RED-BREASTED NUTHATCHES, 3 RUBY-CROWNED KINGLETS, 1 WARBLING VIREO, 1 "WESTERN" FLYCATCHER, 1 TOWNSEND'S WARBLER, 1 COMMON YELLOWTHROAT, 6 LINCOLN'S SPARROWS, 10-12 YELLOW WARBLERS, and many YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLERS.
