I had my mini-DV camcorder with me and got a 4 minute video of a closeby rail, bathing in the tidal channel at Rail Alley for about a minute, walking along the channel and then sitting out in the open preening. Nicely showing off its plumage. If someone is interested in it for instructive purposes, I can try and make a copy. I will need to dub over the audio though (my two and half year old daughter exclaiming "duckie" and "daddy, I am getting cold" !)
