Hi All,
 
It seems that this identification business is more complicated than I thought.  (I'm very new at this)  It seems to be complicated by the apparent fact that this is a juvenile.
 
I went back to my digital CF card and found a couple of more shots of the hawk that may be helpful to you experts.  One is of the bird's tail, the other shows a small portion of the underside of one wing.  Not sure if this will help.  The photos are posted  under the original on my web.

I really would like to know if this is a coopers or a sharp shin.
