Interesting timing...
       I also had a Yellow-shafted Northern Flicker this afternoon, but it
was at Overfelt Gardens. There were several Red-shafted Flickers as well,
all in the California Wild area north of the biggest pond at Overfelt.  
       Ring-necked ducks are still on the north-westernmost pond, and 
Yellow-rumped and Townsend's Warblers abound near the oldest oak.
